Scientology is a religion that offers a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being. Scientology further holds Man to be basically good, and that his spiritual salvation depends upon himself, his fellows and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.

The Religion
Scientology is a religion in the most profound sense of the word, for it is concerned with no less than the full rehabilitation of Man’s innate spiritual self—his capabilities, his awareness and his certainty of his own immortality. While the Scientology religion owes a spiritual debt to the Eastern faiths, it was born in the West and Scientology beliefs are expressed in the technological language of the mid-twentieth century.Scientology beliefs hold that Man is basically good and that his spiritual salvation depends upon himself, his relationships with his fellows and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.Based upon the tradition of fifty thousand years of thinking men, Scientology beliefs are built upon the fundamental truths of life.Scientology adds a precise and workable technology for applying spiritual concepts to every aspect of life.Scientology is the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, universes and other life.
Practices
The purpose of auditing in Scientology is to eliminate harmful spiritual influences that restrict the thetan, and higher levels of this process allow the thetan to interact with the world without needing to use the body as an intermediary. If the family of the deceased opts for a funeral ceremony, a church official will address the deceased, bidding farewell and encouraging his thetan to take up a new body and a new life through reincarnation. However, they also believe that all traumatic experiences form harmful engrams, which limit the expression of the thetan until expelled through auditing, and that this process may occur even when unconscious or suffering “brain death”.Scientology doctrine does not dictate any required or forbidden treatment of the body after death.Counseling through auditing is encouraged by the Church of Scientology for survivors of the deceased.Scientologists believe that the defining part of every human is his soul, or thetan. Each thetan is billions of years old, passing from one human life to the next through reincarnation. As such, Scientology funerals are relatively simple ceremonies and are largely for the benefit of attendees rather than the deceased. There is no judgment of the soul involved, and the process is automatic, without any necessary intervention through ritual, prayer or other means. The ceremony also generally involves a celebration of the deceased’s accomplishments in life and thanking him for the time spent with those attending.
Silent Birth
A silent birth is labor and delivery done in a calm and loving environment and with no spoken words by anyone attending.Silent birth is all about providing the best possible environment for the birthing mother and her new baby. The Church has no policy against the use of medicines to help a person with a physical situation and these principles do not preclude a mother from receiving any medical procedure needed to safely deliver the baby, including Caesarean section.Just like care is taken in all other aspects of labor and birth, a woman and her doctor or midwife and any others present work out how to communicate without words.Mothers naturally want to give their baby the best start in life and thus keep the birth as quiet and peaceful as possible.Silent birth is not a medical model but a religious and philosophical approach based on L.
Levels of Scientology
Replaced by New OT V: A series of steps directed at clearing the Pre-OTs body of body thetans with some attention on body thetans which are causing particular conditions (including health conditions, rock slams caused by the evil intentions of body thetans, PTSness caused by suppressive body thetans, etc.) Audited by Class IX auditors at Advanced Organizations and higher.People who have completed this level have said that it is a review of all of the person's auditing and a verification/ nullification of discoveries the person has made about himself, that it is Route 1 and 2 from the Creation of Human ability book, that it involves looking into your past auditing folders in order to spot any moments where you were being somebody else, e.g. past life identities, which you have discovered on Int Rundown or NED and any body thetans you have unleashed on OT III, OT IV, OT V, OT VI, OT VII and on Lists L10, L11 and L12, then a meter check to see if these identities are right or wrong items."Locating and auditing of body thetans on Incident I (first incident in MEST universe) and Incident II (incident which caused the degradation of these beings into body thetans and clusters as caused by Xenu approximately seventy-five million years ago).

What Happens When Trying to Leave Scientology
It seems very likely that we'll never know the full details of why Holmes wanted to leave in such a cloak-and-dagger manner, but there are reasonable inferences to be made from the way she did it and what has happened to other people who have tried to get away from the Church of Scientology.Former star of hilarious sitcom Living Dolls Leah Remini had been an ardent supporter and member of the church for years until she one day questioned why no one had seen Shelly Miscavige, wife of church leader David Miscavige, in years. In 2009, director Paul Haggis opted to leave the church as a result of their support of Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage, in an open letter to Scientology spokesman Tommy Davis.I'm not suggesting that the church would break into Remini's home in the middle of the night, wrap her in a wet carpet, drive her to the nearest active volcano, and toss her in before filing numerous lawsuits against anyone who even suggests that that's what happened if they thought they could get away with it; I'm just saying it took me all of 30 seconds to think that up, and the church has been coming up with kooky bullshit since the 1960s.Like Katie Holmes, former Tom Cruise wifebot Nicole Kidman was also a Scientologist, and she also left the church, also to protect her children from the church, which we assume she found even more off-putting than sharing a bed with a man who willingly starred in Vanilla Sky.Before going any further, please take a moment to appreciate that the Church of Scientology has knowingly developed plans to ruin people's lives and code named them things like Operation Freakout. Not content with that, Remini eventually left the church and filed a missing persons report on Shelly, who, I can't stress this enough, has not been seen in almost 10 years.Lisa Marie Presley had for a long time been a prominent church member but then one day seemed to slide off the radar while she refused to answer any direct questions about her involvement.
